Prof. Xiuxian Li

IEEE Senior Member, Tongji University, China

Profile: Prof. Xiuxian Li received a B.S. degree in mathematics and applied mathematics and a M.S. degree in pure mathematics (number theory under the supervision of Prof. Jianya Liu) from Shandong University, China, in 2009 and 2012, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Michael Z. Q. Chen and Prof. James Lam. From 2016 to 2020, he has been a research fellow with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, working with Prof. Lihua Xie, and a senior research associate with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, working with Prof. Gang Feng. In 2020, he joined the Department of Control Science & Engineering at Tongji University, Shanghai, China, where he has been a full professor since 2022. He held a visit to the group of Prof. Peter Richtárik at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia, in September 2019. He was a finalist for the best paper award at the 2018 IEEE International Conference on Real-time Computing and Robotics.

Prof. Yunpeng Xiao

Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China

Profile: Prof. Xiao Yunpeng, PhD, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Vice Dean of the School of Communication and Information Engineering at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Recipient of the Chongqing Youth Science and Technology Innovation Talent Funding Program, member of the Service Computing Committee of the Chinese Computer Society, and member of the Young Scientists Club of the Chinese Electronics Society. The current Chief Engineer of the National Broadband Mobile Communication Military Civil Integration Terminal Mobilization Center, a core member of the research team for pan-network wireless communication technology at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and the head of the graduate supervisor team for social networks and complex software systems. Main research directions: intelligent security, network social security, social networks, false information analysis, e-commerce, and complex software systems.Hosted over 50 national key research and development projects, National Natural Science Foundation general projects, Ministry of Education China Mobile Fund, Chongqing key research and development projects, Chongqing Natural Science Foundation, Chongqing Education Commission key projects, and enterprise horizontal projects. Received the Excellent Award (Ranking 1) of the China Industry University Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award, and the First Prize (Ranking 1) of the Second, respectively. The first author/corresponding author has published over 100 papers in IEEE TKDE, TNNLS, TBD, TMM, TETC, TETCI, TNSE, TCSS, TCDS, TNSM, TSC, INS, KBS, JNCA, CNSNS, ND, SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences.

Assoc. Prof.Xiaofang Xia

Member of ACM, IEEE, CCF, CAA; Xidian University, China

Profile: Prof. Xiaofang Xia is currently an associate professor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Xidian University, China. She was selected for the 8th China Association for Science and Technology Young Talents Entrustment Project in 2022. She received her Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2019. She was a visiting scholar at the Department of Computer Science, University of Alabama, USA, from August 2016 to February 2018. Her research interests are mainly in cyberphysical systems, smart grid security, database management systems, and anomaly detection. She serves as the Principal Investigator for nearly 10 research grants, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and multiple enterprise cooperation projects. In these areas, she has published over 20 papers in Proceedings of the IEEE, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TII, IEEE TFS, IEEE TASE, IEEE TNSE, IEEE TETC, IEEE IOTJ, IEEE JBHI, Computers & Security, etc.

Assoc. Prof. Francesco Fontanella

University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Italy

Profile: Prof. Francesco Fontanella is an associate professor of computer science at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (Italy). His main research interests relate to investigating and implementing new techniques in evolutionary computation and machine learning for solving real-life problems. These problems include detecting and predicting neurodegenerative diseases through handwriting analysis, writer identification in ancient manuscripts, and water pollution detection. He has been guest editor of several special issues published and co-chair of several workshops. He has authored over ninety scientific papers in journals and international conference proceedings.
